Popular Wedding Music
The time has come to select the music for your special day. The songs you choose will become a part of the memories that will stick with you for the rest of your life.

Your choices for wedding reception music are limited only by your imagination. The only guideline you should be aware of is that you want to entertain your guests, not drive them away. It’s an added bonus if the music compliments the theme and style of the day. In other words, for a very formal wedding reception, swing or jazz might go over better than rap and heavy metal.

Wedding DJ in PittsburghWhatever type of music you decide on, remember that this form of entertainment is a gift to your guests, to add to their enjoyment of your wedding. Your best bet is to go with an inclusive song list that covers a broad spectrum of musical tastes.

Aside from pleasing your guests, you and your fiance should make sure your own favorite songs are played. Could you imagine celebrating your wedding without dancing with your new spouse to your song?

Below are links to several of the more popular music requests for wedding receptions. This is not meant to be a definitive list, they are merely some suggestions. I currently have over 50,000 song titles in my music library, so regardless of what songs you decide on, I probably already have them.

If I don’t have your favorite song, don’t worry. All you need to do is list your song requests on the reception planning worksheets I send you and I will gladly obtain any requests that I don’t already have – AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU.
