On Saturday we were at The New Englander in New Castle Pennsylvania. The event was a wedding reception for Matthew and Alexis Lamenza. Matthew and Alexis were married at 3:00 PM at The Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City PA. Guests began arriving at The New Englander at 5:00 PM, where they enjoyed cocktails and appetizers.
At 6:15 PM we formally introduced the bridal party and the bride & groom to “I Gotta A Feeling” by Black Eyed Peas. After the introductions, guests enjoyed an 8 minute photo montage featuring Matthew and Lexie. We then invited Lexie and Matthew to cut their wedding cake to “That’s Amore” by Dean Martin.
Dinner was prepared by the culinary staff at The New Englander and was served buffet style. After dinner we invited the newlyweds to share in their first dance together as husband and wife to “Endless Love” by Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey. Matthew and Lexie then danced with the bridal party to “With A Little Help From My Friends” by Joe Cocker. Lexie then requested a special dance with her father, Mr. Daniel Loccisano to “The Way You Look Tonight” by Steve Tyrell. Matthew then danced with his mother, Mrs. Michele Lamenza to “What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong.
Throughout the reminder of the evening, guests danced to music by Tone Loc, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Bon Jovi and more. At 10:00 PM we invited Matthew and Alexis, along with their guests to share in the last dance of the evening to “Last Dance” Donna Summer.
