On Saturday we were at The Atrium in Prospect Pennsylvania. The Event was a wedding ceremony and wedding reception for Ron and Cher Post.
Ron and Cher chose to hold their wedding ceremony at the Gazebo which is located outside behind The Atrium. We started playing prelude music at 4:00 pm as guests began arriving. The ceremony was presided over by Reverend Jim Lewis and started promptly at 4:30 pm with the processionals. The ceremony lasted approximately 20 minutes at which time Ron and Cher held a receiving line, as guests made their way from the ceremony location into The Atrium.
For the next hour, guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers, as the bridal party went to the greenhouse for formal photographs. At 6:00 pm we introduced the parents, bridal party and bride & groom into the hall. After the introductions, Cher and Ron cut their wedding cake to “How Sweet It Is” by James Taylor.
Dinner was prepared by the culinary staff at Jody’s Pantry from Newcastle Pennsylvania and was served buffet style. In addition to food by Jody’s Pantry, guests were treated to pizza by Posti’s Pizza from Evans City PA. This was done because Ron actually owns Posti’s Pizza and who doesn’t love pizza from Posti’s Pizza!
After dinner we invited Ron and Cher to the dance floor to play The Newlywed Game. Next the newlyweds shared in their first dance together as husband and wife to “The Way You Look Tonight” by Harry Connick Jr. Cher then danced with her father Bryan Myers to “I Believe I Can Fly” by Bianca Ryan and Ron danced with his mother Jo Ann Post to “Georgia On My Mind” by Ray Charles.
Throughout the remainder of the evening, guests danced to music by The Commodores, The Bee Gees, Usher, Michael Jackson and more. The wedding reception ended at 11:00 pm as we invited all of the guests to share in the last dance of the evening to “Last Dance” by Donna Summer.
