On Saturday we were at The Atrium in Prospect PA. The event was a wedding ceremony and wedding reception for Brandon and Michelle Williams.
Brandon and Michelle were married in an outdoor ceremony by Reverend Mark DeNuzzio of A Simple Vow. The wedding ceremony started at 4:30 pm and was held in front of the gazebo at the rear of The Atrium. We have worked with Reverend DeNuzzio many times in the past and he has always done a fabulous job. During the course of the ceremony Michelle was even able to incorporate a “Terrible Towel”. This is due to the fact that the bride is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and the groom is a Cleveland Browns fan. Another unique feature was the addition of a Wine Blending Ceremony, which is a nice twist on the more traditional Lighting of the Unity Candle.
The wedding ceremony concluded around 5:00 pm as guests entered The Atrium to enjoy cocktails and appetizers. During this time, the bridal party went to take photographs with the professional photographer, Jeff Hartzell of Jeff Hartzell Photography.
At 6:00 pm we formally introduced the bridal party to the song “Oh Yeah” by Yello. Guests then enjoyed an 8 minute photo montage, that we had created for Brandon and Michelle.
Dinner was prepared by one of our favorite caterers, Jody’s Pantry, and was served buffet style. After dinner Michelle and Brandon played the newlywed game prior to cutting the cake. For the cake cutting, they chose the song “Lost In This Moment” by Big & Rich.
We then invited the newlyweds to share in their first dance together as husband and wife to the song “My Best Friend” by Tim McGraw. They also shared in a dance with the bridal party to “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton. Michelle requested a special dance with her father Mr. James Frye to the song “Michelle” by the Beatles. Next we invited Brandon to dance with his mother Mrs. Debbie Morrison to “Then They Do” by Trace Adkins.
Throughout the remainder of the evening, guests danced to songs such as “Get Down Tonight” by K.C. And The Sunshine Band, “All Summer Long” by Kid Rock, “Play That Funky Music” by Wild Cherry and “Let’s Groove” by Earth Wind & Fire.
At 11:00 pm we invited everyone to the dance floor for the last dance of the evening which was “At Last” by Etta James.
