Will you personally be the DJ at my event?
When you book with Pifemaster Productions, you book your event with Robert, you plan your event with Robert and on the date of the event, Robert will be the DJ at your event. Often times, at other DJ companies, the person you speak with when you inquire about DJ service, is not the actual person who will be performing at your event. This is very common among large agencies. It is absolutely paramount that you have an opportunity to speak in person with the specific DJ that you will be working with and determine if they are the right fit.
Do you perform for more than 1 event per day?
Some DJ’s will book as many events as possible, and often times they will try to book multiple events on the same day. If a DJ has already performed at an event prior to your event, they will likely be physically exhausted by the latter half of your event. At Pifemaster Productions I only book 1 event per day. This not only allows me to give you my 100% undivided attention, it also allows you the ability to extend the length of your event (right up until 5 minutes before I am scheduled to stop) and know that I will always be available to continue.
Will my DJ act as the master of ceremonies?
In addition to playing music, I will also act as master of ceremonies. I am comfortable speaking in public and will keep your guests involved throughout your event. I will gladly handle any announcements and pride myself in my ability to keep your event organized and running smoothly.
Can I choose the music that is played at my event?
Every event I perform at is 100% customized for that client. I have an elaborate planning process in place that allows clients to choose all of their music, decide which formal events to include, specify a timeline and more. The bottom line is, this is your event and I will do things your way.
What music will my DJ bring to my event?
At Pifemaster Productions I currently have over 50,000 song titles in my music library, and I add over 250 new song titles each and every month. My music library spans over 8 decades, so regardless of the type of music you would like to hear, I will be able to satisfy your needs. However, in the unlikely event that I do not have a song that you would like to hear at your event, all you need to do is indicate the song on the planning worksheets and I will obtain any requests that I don’t already have, at no additional charge.
Do you take requests from our guests?
At Pifemaster Productions I gladly take requests. Keep in mind that this is your event, so why settle for a DJ that only wants to play music that they want to hear.
Can we submit a DO NOT PLAY list?
In addition to allowing customers to submit request lists, I will gladly not play any songs, artists, or genres specified on the DO NOT PLAY list.
Will you purchase music requests that are not already available?
Absolutely, music is my business, and with over 50,000 song titles currently on hand, the chances are that I already have your request. But in the unlikely event I would not, I will be more than happy to purchase it without any additional charge to you.
How will my DJ be dressed?
From the moment your guests arrive, I am always dressed in formal attire, unless you desire differently.
Can you provide crowd participation activities?
I have developed several activities that are designed to motivate and encourage your guests to have fun. These may be used in combination with party props to give your guests a lasting memory of your occasion. However, I will never ‘surprise’ you with any type of interaction. Since every client has a different vision of what they want at their event, I will always coordinate the level of interaction that you desire.
Do you take breaks?
The short answer is NO, I do not take breaks while at your event. When you hire Pifemaster Productions to perform at your event, there will be continuous music from the arrival of the guests, all the way through until the last dance.
What types of parties do you specialize in?
Although I have provided DJ entertainment for hundreds of events such as weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Bat Mitzvahs and sweet 16’s, my specialty is definitely wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions. Be sure to browse through my customer reviews to see what many of my former clients have said about my service.
What type of DJ equipment do you provide?
At Pifemaster Productions I use only state of the art professional DJ equipment with names like Denon, Shure, Rane, Dynacord and EV. All of my sound systems are designed by highly skilled sound and lighting engineers. This type of commitment to excellence is unsurpassed by anyone.
Do you bring backup equipment with you to our event?
Even the very best and most well-maintained equipment can malfunction at some point. At Pifemaster Productions, I am prepared in case this would happen at your event. I bring a complete second sound system with me to each and every event. This assures that in the unlikely event of an equipment failure, I will be able to continue within moments.
Are you insured?
It is essential that any DJ you consider, carry a full liability insurance policy. Many banquet halls have even taken steps to require all vendors working at their facility, provide proof of insurance prior to the date of the event. At Pifemaster Productions, I carry a 2 million dollar liability insurance policy and will gladly honor requests to provide a certificate of insurance.
Will I have a written contract?
All too often, I hear horror stories about clients that spend thousands of dollars on a wedding, only to hire a DJ without a written contract. If your DJ is not willing to provide you with a written commitment, then tell them ‘No Thanks’. At Pifemaster Productions, I am fully licensed, insured and will ALWAYS provide you with a written contract.
How much does your DJ service cost?
You might be surprised how little the difference in cost between a low budget, inexperienced DJ and a highly qualified professional. My rates are very competitive and I will be more than happy to discuss your event with you and quote you a price. Please give me a quick call at (724) 482-6388.
