PPG Aquarium
The PPG Aquarium is available year round (evenings only) and is the flagship wedding location at the Pittsburgh Zoo. It has a capacity of 230 guests seated, or 630 guests cocktail-style. The PPG Aquarium contains brilliantly colored aquatic life from around the globe, a lush rainforest, and multiple waterfalls. All of which make for some remarkable photo opportunities.
Water’s Edge
The Water’s Edge is also available year round (evenings only). It has a slightly smaller capacity of 140 guests seated, or 250 guests cocktail-style. As your guests arrive, they are transported to Pier Town, a coastal village complete with polar bears, sea otters, and sand tiger sharks. Your guests will encounter two underwater tunnels with polar bears and sharks as they enter and exit the spacious and elegant banquet hall.
Garden Tent
The Garden Tent is available April through October during either the day, or evening (weather permitting). It has the largest capacity of all three locations, accommodating 500 guests seated, or up to 1000 guests cocktail-style. This location offers a 7,200 square foot illuminated tent, which is surrounded by lavish foliage and botanical gardens.
