On Saturday we were at the Pittsburgh Marriott North in Cranberry Township Pennsylvania. The event was a wedding reception for Travis and Katelyn Snyder. Travis and Katelyn were married at 4:00 pm at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church on McKnight Road in Pittsburgh PA. Guests began arriving at the Pittsburgh Marriott North shortly before 6:00 pm where they enjoyed cocktails and appetizers as the bridal party posed for pictures with wedding photographer Bob Fritz of R. Fritz Photography, Inc.
At 7:15 pm we formally introduced the bridal party to “Yeah” by Usher. We then introduced Travis and Katelyn to “Gettin Jiggy Wit It” by Will Smith. After the introductions, Katelyn and Travis played The Newlywed Game and then cut their wedding cake to the song “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys.
Dinner was prepared by the culinary staff at the Pittsburgh Marriott North and was served sit-down style. After dinner, we invited the newlyweds to share in their first dance together as husband and wife to “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” by Elton John. Travis and Katelyn then danced with the bridal party to “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton. Next, Katelyn requested a special dance with her father Dr. Leon Sykes to “You Are So Beautiful” by Joe Cocker and Travis danced with his mother Mrs. Nancy Snyder to “Twenty Six Cents” by The Wilkinsons.
Throughout the remainder of the evening, guests danced to music by Michael Jackson, Cupid, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Elvis and more. At 11:00 pm we invited all of the guests to share in the last dance of the evening to “Good Riddance” by Green Day.
