On Sunday we were at the Edgewood Country Club in Pittsburgh PA. The event was a wedding reception for Matthew and Jessica Schwersenska. Matthew and Jessica were married at 3:30 pm at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh. Guests began arriving at the Edgewood Country Club at 5:00 pm where they enjoyed cocktails and appetizers as the bridal party posed for pictures with Professional Photographer Daniel McGarrity and Videographer Michael Huster.
At 6:00 pm we formally introduced the bridal party to the song “I Gotta Feeling” by Black Eyed Peas. We then introduced Jessica and Matthew to “Run It” by Chris Brown. After the introductions, Matthew and Jessica cut their wedding cake to the song “Eat It” by Weird Al Yankovic. Toasts were offered by Maid of Honor Jenna Frederick and Best Man Andy McRell.
Dinner was prepared by the culinary staff at the Edgewood Country Club and was served sit-down style. After dinner, we invited the newlyweds to share in their first dance together as husband and wife to “Angel Eyes” by Jeff Healy Band. Jessica and Matthew then danced with the bridal party to “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole. Next, Jessica had requested a special dance with her father Mr. Philip Frederick to “A Song For My Daughter” by Ray Allaire. Matthew then danced with his mother Mrs. Sharon Schwersenska to “On This Day” by Christian Barnes.
Throughout the remainder of the evening, guests danced to music by Michael Jackson, Usher, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Black Eyed Peas and more. At 11:00 pm we invited all of the guests to share in the last dance of the evening to “Happily Ever After” by Case. The guests then headed out to the front entrance of the Edgewood Country Club where they lit Sparklers as a send-off for Matthew and Jessica.
