On Saturday we were at Cooper Hall in Saxonburg Pennsylvania. The event was a wedding reception for Daniel and Katie Wilbert. Daniel and Katie were married at 2:00 pm at St. John’s Catholic Church in Fenelton PA. Guests began arriving at Cooper Hall shortly after 3:30 pm where they enjoyed cocktails and appetizers as the bridal party posed for pictures with photographer Marlana Reges.
At 4:45 pm we formally introduced the bridal party to “Get Ready For This” by 2 Unlimited. We then introduced Daniel and Katie to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours” by Stevie Wonder. After the introductions, toasts were given by the best man Michael Wilbert and maid of honor Kelley Pierce.
Dinner was prepared by the culinary staff at Creative Catering from Lower Burrell PA and was served buffet style. After dinner Daniel and Katie cut their wedding cake to the song “Sugar, Sugar” by The Archies. We then invited the newlyweds to share in their first dance together as husband and wife to “My Best Friend” by Tim McGraw. Dan & Katie then danced with the bridal party to “It Feels So Right” by Alabama. Next, Katie requested a special dance with her father Mr. Wayne Pierce to “Cinderella” by Steven Curtis Chapman and Daniel danced with his mother Mrs. Sandra Wilbert to “Do I Make You Proud” by Taylor Hicks.
Throughout the remainder of the evening, guests danced to music by Michael Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, AC DC, Bon Jovi and more. At 11:00 pm we invited everyone to share in the last dance of the evening to “Goodnight Sweetheart Goodnight” by The Spaniels.
