Jason and Katie Abbott Wedding

On Saturday January 30th 2010 we were back, for the second week in a row, at Twelve Oaks Mansion in Cranberry Township Pennsylvania. The event was a wedding reception for Jason and Katie Abbott. Katie and Jason were married at 2:00 pm by Reverend Regis M. Farmer. The wedding ceremony was held at the St. Catherine of Sweden Church, located on Wildwood Road in Pittsburgh.

Guests began arriving at Twelve Oaks Mansion at 5:00 pm where they enjoyed cocktails and appetizers. During this time, the bridal party posed for pictures with Photographer Jess Kalthchaler.

At 6:00 pm we formally introduced the bridal party to the song “I Gotta Feeling” by Black Eyed Peas. We then introduced the bride and groom to “Happy Together” by The Turtles. After the introductions, Katie and Jason cut their wedding cake to “I Wanna Grow Old With You” by Adam Sandler. Toasts were offered by the matron of honor Amanda McKay, best man Darrell Abbott and the father of the bride David Boburczak.

Dinner was prepared by the culinary staff at Twelve Oaks Mansion and was served sit-down style. I would like to take a moment to compliment the chef at Twelve Oaks Mansion. For two weeks in a row, the culinary staff at Twelve oaks Mansion prepared two of the most incredible meals that I have ever been served at a wedding reception. I heard compliments from several guests, at both weddings, regarding the meals.

At the conclusion of dinner, guests enjoyed an 8 minute photo montage that was prepared by the parents of the bride. We then invited the newlyweds to share in their first dance together as husband and wife to “Then” by Brad Paisley. Next, Katie and Jason shared in a dance with the bridal party to “I Love The Way You Love Me” by John Michael Montgomery. Katie then requested a special dance with her father Mr. David Boburczak to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland and Jason danced with his mother Mrs. Janet Abbott to “The Words I Would Say” by Sidewalk Prophets.

Throughout the remainder of the evening, guests danced to music by Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, Kool & The Gang, M.C. Hammer and more. The wedding reception ended at 10:30 pm as we invited the newlyweds to share in the last dance of the evening to “Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)” by Green Day.
