Top 200 Party Songs from 2009

Not sure what music to play at your next big party? Well the folks at Mobile Beat Magazine have compiled their annual list of the Top 200 Party Songs from 2009 to help you out.

Every year, Disc Jockeys from around the world participate in an automated music tabulation service, through the use of an online music request system called DJ Intelligence.

This system tracks over two hundred thousand music requests each month. The results are then compiled and tallied in real time to create this dynamic list. Due to the vast number of music requests received, this list is considered quite accurate.

These are the Top 200 Party Songs that were played at weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Birthday Parties and similar events. The list contains several “classics” that have been popular at these types of events for many years. However, the list also contains many of today’s top 40 hits from artists such as Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Black Eyed Peas.

I will be curious to see how many of these songs remain on the Top 200 Party Songs over the next couple of years. Feel free to browse through the list, I am sure your you will recognize most of the songs.
