Dave and Diana Matous Wedding
On Saturday May 09, 2009 we were at The Camelot banquet hall in Warrendale Pennsylvania. The event was a wedding reception for clients Dave & Diana Matous. The wedding reception started at 5:30 pm with guest enjoying a large assortment of appetizers and cookies. The bridal party arrived shortly after 6:30 in two stretch limousines. Immediately after the introduction of the parents and bridal party, the father of the bride Robert Amelio kicked things off with a very entertaining yet heartfelt speech. This was followed by a wonderful toast by the best man Mr. John Keelin.

At this time, I announced to the guests that Diana and Dave opted for a twist to a common wedding tradition. You see, in Western Pennsylvania it is common for guests at a wedding reception to clank their glasses in order to get the bride and groom to share in a kiss. However, at this wedding reception, Diana and Dave had me inform the guest that if they would like for the newlywed’s to share in a kiss, their table would have to sing a song with the word “LOVE” in it! So throughout dinner several different tables choose to serenade everyone to songs such as, “Chapel of Love”, “The Barney Theme” and even the theme to the “Love Boat”. Needless to say it was quit entertaining.
After dinner the bride and groom shared in their first dance as husband and wife and also shared a dance with the bridal party. Diana then danced with her father to the song “Daddy’s Little Girl” by Al Martino. From there we opened up the dance floor and guest really began to enjoy themselves. They danced to a wide variety of music ranging from oldies, to disco, to top 40. One memorable moment came when all of the guests danced with the bride & groom to the Tarantella. The reception lasted until 11:00 pm, at which time Diana and Dave shared in the last dance to “Save The Last Dance For Me” by Michael Buble. Below are several photos from the event.
